How come it's possible
I wish there was a way
(Suddenly) I feel so invincible
I'm the sculpture made out of clay
I need someone to break the silence
before it all falls apart
I need something to cling onto
before I break you in parts

Strange way you did the Tallest's eyes there. Pretty nice, as it catches their personality better. I have one horrible complaint - they have, like, ZERO nose on the show. Somehow you have given them a nose. I'm actually quite sure you are aware of this, though it's kinda... I dunno... painfully obvious to me. Anyhow, enough deadly criticism. You did a really nice job on their robes. I love how you really made the top metallic, and the bottom more clothlike, especially just using little patches of color.
One more thing wrong (it's a large section of the review, but it's easily fixed!) - the robe bottom texture is a liiiiiiiiittle blurry. Values, even in only slightly changing curves of the material, have high contrast. I used to do the same thing (just look at my pic of Shiina!), but I fixed it by doing this: do several value studies of a draping cloth/curtain. I mean, go CRAZY with the folding and twisting of the cloth, but make sure there is a large about still sagging and hanging straight down, because that is the effect you'll need for the Tallest. You can do these value studies using a pen or ebony pencil, just to get the visualization. If you want, you can do some value studies in Photoshop (or whatever your prog. of choice is,) but do at least one in a traditional way. If you'd like me to judge it, you can E-mail the scanned piece to me at ChemicalIrony@aol.com, or you can post it here. I swear, it may be tedious, but it will REALLY help!!
Anyhow, enough of that, back to da other goods. I like the way their collars (or whatever they are) look. That's very neat. Plus, neat-o antennae, and just-as-neat-o waist bands.
